Paula Paravecchio
Managing Director, EMEA Distribution & Services Industry

Paula Paravecchio is responsible for driving the EMEA time zone strategy for growth in the Retail, Hospitality, and Consumer Goods verticals. Her focus is on customer and partner engagement, adoption of Industry Solutions in the industry verticals, and to drive EMEA’s efforts in existing accounts and emerging markets.

Paula joined Microsoft in October 2002 as the Regional Sales Director for the US subsidiary in Chicago and spent two years there before moving to Redmond in a worldwide capacity supporting start up teams in India, Latam and Japan. Prior to joining Microsoft, Paula was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Armature Software in the U.K., and she held executive positions with GE Information Services and IBM Global Services Retail divisions. Her operational experience in Retail and Distribution comes from serving as the IT Director for Pep Boys for six years, responsible for Stores, Merchandising and Logistics, and three years as Director of Merchandising and Distribution Systems for PACCAR in Seattle, WA.

Paula is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, USA with a degree in Teaching and Foreign Languages. She speaks French, Spanish and Italian and currently resides in Paris, France.
